How to Use the Match Finder

The match finder shows you the best matched betting opportunities in seconds. Here is how to filter, sort and use it to place a bet.

The match finder, sometimes called an oddsmatcher, does the hard work of finding matched betting opportunities for you. It compares the back odds at bookmakers with the lay odds on the exchange and rates each one, so you can see at a glance which bets keep the most value.

Filtering the results

  • Bookmaker: filter to show only the bookmaker you are working with.
  • Odds: set an odds range. Higher odds extract more from a free bet but need more liability in your exchange account, so a moderate range is usually the sweet spot.

Sorting

Sort the results by rating. For free bets, sort by stake not returned (SNR) so the best free bet matches sit at the top.

Placing a bet

Pick a suitable event with a high rating and enough liquidity to get your lay matched, then click its rating to open the matched betting calculator. The calculator tells you exactly how much to lay at the exchange.
